St. Jude identified a need to expand their campus as the existing Chili’s Care Center reached max capacity. Bernhard provided design assist, as well as mechanical construction services for Tower II – a seven-story facility. Tower II houses a new Proton Beam Therapy Center for pediatric cancer treatment. The project also involved the addition of three floors at Kay Research and Care Center for inpatient services. Each floor includes 17 beds with expanded space and a separate room for parents.
